Brew
the change
Specialty coffee and cold-pressed juice for London's communities, connected to our cooperative in Ghana.
The story
behind the brew
“You’ve heard the ‘we’re saving the world’ story before, and honestly, we’re as sceptical as you are. The supply chain is broken: London gets the aesthetic and the caffeine, while the farmer carries the risk and the climate anxiety. We’re not here to play heroes. We’re here to build a better system.”
Eugene HammondFounder and Director, Brewing Change CIC
From Ghana
to London
We are a not-for-profit CIC. We don't just import; we're flipping the script.
Where we are today: nothing we serve in London comes from our cooperative yet. Our cold-pressed juices are made fresh from pure, raw ingredients and only keep for about five days, so they aren't made in Ghana. What travels today is the funding. Bringing the cooperative's own produce to London is the goal below, not a claim about our drinks now.
Value at origin
We work with the Ghana Farmers Association to process coffee and fruit locally. We're turning waste into value, like coffee leaf tea and cascara, and building the infrastructure to one day bring premium, market-ready products directly from the cooperative to you.
Regenerative farming
We're moving beyond monoculture, focusing on shade-grown systems that feed the farmers (plantains, yams and cassava), not just the export market.
The roadmap
Our ultimate goal is a "full circle" supply chain. We're working toward international standards so the fruits grown by our cooperative in Ghana can be processed, exported, and served in London alongside our coffee.
A two-way
bridge
Most coffee supply chains are one-way streets: value flows out, and the burden stays behind. We are building a bridge that carries value in both directions.
We connect London's community energy directly to our cooperative in Ghana. The funds raised at our London events are reinvested into sustainable farming; that investment bears fruit in exceptional coffee, which in time will travel back to London to fuel the very community events that started the cycle.
It's not just coffee. It's a closed-loop partnership that turns every cup into a catalyst for change.
Fuelling community
in London
We aren't just selling drinks; we're building community. Whether it's run clubs, fishing groups, calisthenics sessions, or art workshops, we provide high-quality, cold-pressed juices and specialty coffee to keep your community moving.
Beyond the cup, we're using these gatherings to combat social isolation. We know the cost of socialising is a barrier for many, which is why our drinks are open to everyone. If you choose to contribute, your money goes to our cooperative in Ghana and covers the costs of these community refreshments. If you can't, enjoy the beverage on us. No questions asked.
Co-branded for every community
We see our branding and packaging as a collaboration. Every label is custom-designed for each community, so communities can give back directly, build their own brand awareness, and take pride in what they're drinking. We provide the highest quality raw, organic, cold-pressed juices and specialty coffees, so every drink supports both your local event and our cooperative's growth in Ghana.

Is this just
"feel-good"
branding?
We aren't here to "save" anyone. We're here to build infrastructure that lets the cooperative own their value chain. Every penny of profit from our London operations is reinvested into the cooperative in Ghana.
We are currently seeking grant funding to cover our production costs for the next two years, allowing us to fuel community groups across London without compromising on quality or accessibility.

Where the
money goes
Contributions and profits from our London events go to our cooperative in Ghana, where we work with the Ghana Farmers Association. The focus is regenerative, shade-grown farming that feeds the farmers first, with plantains, yams and cassava growing alongside the coffee, not just crops for export.
We've already been out to the farms for tree planting with the cooperative. [Add where, when and how many trees.]
The long-term goal is for the cooperative's own coffee and fruit to be processed in Ghana and served in London. We're not there yet, and we'll say so clearly when we are.

The team
Brewing Change CIC brings together expertise in coffee, food, agriculture and training to bridge the gap between Ghana and London.
Our
mission
We're building a two-way bridge to bring premium, ethically sourced Ghanaian coffee and fruit directly to London.
We aren't interested in marketing fluff. We're building infrastructure that will still be standing and making an impact long after we're gone.
It's not world-saving. It's just better business.

The ask
We aren't looking for pity. We're looking for curiosity.
Find us at our next London event. Drink the coffee. Taste the juice. Ask the tough questions. If you believe in what we're building (modern processing, regenerative farming, and true representation), support the cooperative.
If not? At least you'll have had a great drink and a conversation that actually meant something.
Let's see if we can change the system. One cup (and one juice) at a time.
Our
drinks
Raw, cold-pressed juice, made fresh in London and served at community sessions across the city. Everyone taking part can have a drink, whether or not they are able to pay.
Clubs we
serve
We bring our drinks to running clubs, sports sessions and community projects across London, including 445 Crew, Club 1%, Run for Change and We Are Black Fish. We also make co-branded cans for community groups such as Project 1957.
Every collaboration is shaped around the group. We serve at their sessions, and our co-branded labels are designed with each community, so the drinks carry their name as well as ours.
How the drinks
are funded
Drinks at our community sessions are free to the people taking part. Contributions from individuals and companies cover the cost, so each club and project can keep its sessions open to everyone.

Anyone at a session can pay it forward. Your contribution covers the cost of community refreshments and supports our cooperative in Ghana.
